ARE WE GETTING THERE? A Compassionate Look At Ourselves and Our World

IF THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION IS NO, THEN WHY NOT? WHAT’S THE OBSTACLE TO CONNECTING ACROSS OUR DIFFERENCES? Are you afraid to dialogue about HOT TOPICS because it only creates more pain and suffering?

Why are we becoming more isolated, forming camps of right and wrong, verbally becoming accusatory, and less compassionate?

Nonviolent Communication, a modality created by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg over 60 years ago, is one way we can understand and connect without agreeing! By setting our intention to understand, it’s possible!

You are invited to attend this FREE 4 hour workshop on November 1, 8:30-12:30 at Vanderbilt Divinity School where we’ll learn, practice, and experience a consciousness that gets us THERE!

Where’s THERE?

  • Developing Empathic Listening Skills;

  • Learning to ask yourself important questions before speaking;

  • Humanizing the “Enemy”;

  • Learning Important Key Distinctions in NVC Where Change Begins.

If you’ve attended an NVC workshop in the past hosted by Vanderbilt Divinity School and the Cal Turner Program, you’ll remember the liveliness of authentic dialogues! Please join us again for,

ARE WE GETTING THERE? A COMPASSIONATE LOOK AT OURSELVES AND OUR WORLD Through The Lens of NVC.
