An 8 Week NVC Study Course: Connecting Across Differences

THIS GROUP IS NOW FULL AND CLOSED. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR MORE GROUPS/CLASSES STARTING IN MAY!

Beginning Thursday,February 13, Connecting Across Differences will teach the principles and practices of NVC. The group will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays in February, March, April, and May. Once a month, beginning in March, the group is invited to a one and one half to two hour intense study session discussing and applying in more depth the course work. The monthly sessions will be held on the third Saturday morning, 10 - 11:30 or noon, of March, April, and May.

This course will require 30-40 pages of reading for each Thursday night session. There are a variety of practice exercises participants will be asked to complete. I ask each person to commit to the work required for this course. An individual commitment will create a cohesive and collaborative learning environment for everyone to enjoy!

If you are new to NVC and more experienced, this course will offer a depth in the skills of NVC. The book Connecting Across Differences, Finding Common Ground With Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime, written by Jane Connor and Dian Killian, will be our text! (Please order it online and come to the first session, February 13, having read the introduction and the entire first chapter, pages 11-40.)

For this 8 week/11 sessions course, a sliding scale from $220-$320 donation is requested to support the cost of the venue and personal financial compensation. Fees may be paid in 3 payments or in one lump sum.
